JAM on the Marsh is an annual multidisciplinary arts festival held in the Romney Marsh region of Kent, England. The event brings together world-class musicians, performers, artists, and thinkers for a series of concerts, exhibitions, talks, and cultural experiences set within historic churches and unique local venues. I assist the organization with various marketing efforts, helping to promote the festival through strategic messaging, digital content, and design work that raises awareness and supports audience engagement.Â
Ride 4 World Health was founded at The Ohio State University to raise funds and awareness for critical health issues affecting millions around the world. I supported the Marketing Lead by assisting with fundraising initiatives and designing marketing collateral. During the year I was involved, the organization raised more than $130,000, with all proceeds benefiting the Global Health Access Program (GHAP) and the Pendulum Project.
The purpose of TRADE is to educate vocational students not only in their chosen trade but also in the skills needed to thrive and sustain a career within it. In partnership with a school in Virginia, we helped students build tiny homes, which were later auctioned to benefit the program. Through this hands-on experience, students gained a deeper understanding of their value and potential in their fields, with the goal of encouraging long-term retention in their chosen careers. TRADE stands for Teaching Resourcefulness and Developing Expertise.
I had the opportunity to volunteer at Haven of Rest, a homeless shelter in Akron, OH. The organization supports local residents experiencing housing challenges by helping them develop new skills and assisting with job searches. I worked with a team that deep-cleaned the facility and prepared it for incoming residents.
